    General Description The dv/dt filter compact plus Voltage Peak Limiter comprises two components: the dv/dt reactor and the voltage-limiting network (Voltage Peak Limiter), which cuts off the voltage peaks and feeds back the energy into the DC link. The dv/dt filter compact plus Voltage Peak Limiter is designed for use with motors for which the voltage strength of the insulation system is unknown or insufficient.
  • Page 14 Damage to the dv/dt filter compact by using components that have not been released When using components that have not been released, damage or malfunctions can occur at the devices or the system itself. • Only use a dv/dt filter compact that SIEMENS has released for operation with SINAMICS.
