    Network interface card (NIC) aggregation can be used to reduce the possibility of video loss from a cable pull, NIC failure, or switch port issue. Dell EMC recommends NIC aggregation, also known as link aggregation, in an active/passive failover configuration.

    The Dell EMC Surveillance Lab tests focus on storage-related factors with the following objectives: Determine the bandwidth for various Dell EMC storage arrays using FC and iSCSI. Determine the bandwidth for various Dell EMC storage clusters using SMB. Determine the best configuration parameters for Isilon and VNX storage options.

After the NIC failure, writing to the same node failed. When the network fails, the server must recognize the failure, then it must establish a new connection.
