Edition). This specialized version of the BT-300 has been

optimized for use with your DJI

Piloting

Adjusting brightness: Adjust the brightness of the BT-300 display

to match your surroundings.

Muting: To quickly mute/unmute the video feed, give two quick

taps on the right side of the glasses. This function allows the pilot

to quickly toggle between a transparent view of reality and a semi-

transparent view of the Moverio display. (Enable the

Apps

DJI GO app: To ensure optimal performance, go to the

Moverio Apps Market and install the latest available version of the

DJI GO app.

DJI GO 4 app: Epson is currently testing this app. Check the

FAQs at www.epson.com/support or www.epson.ca/support for

availability and usage information.

Note: The DJI GO and DJI GO 4 apps support different drone

models. Be sure to download the correct app for your drone.

Warning: Epson cannot guarantee the accuracy of the pilot or

aircraft position in the DJI GO or DJI GO 4 app. Please be

cautious when using the return to home function.

Other apps: Check out the

Moverio Apps Market for the

latest apps. You can also check third-party markets for BT-300

compatible content.

Customizing

Specialty shades and custom prescription lenses: For specialty

shades and custom prescription lens inserts that are optimized for

the BT-300, visit www.rochesteroptical.com/epson.

Mavic Pro controller mount: You can order a Mavic Pro

Dark shade safety instructions

Warning: These safety instructions, if ignored, could possibly

result in serious personal injury or even death.

■

Use the dark shade only with the BT-300. Do not use it on its

own or attached to any other products.

■

The visibility when using the dark shade varies depending on

the individual.

■

The following table lists the permeability for visible rays with

the available shades attached to the BT-300:

Before using the dark shade, make sure you confirm the safety

of your surroundings. Since the view is darkened when

wearing the dark shade, it is difficult to see your surroundings:

Do not use the dark shade in low light conditions such as

early in the morning, in the evening, at night, or in

tunnels.

■

Since bright images can obscure your view in dark

environments, carefully check your surroundings for

obstacles.

■

When flying a drone using the BT-300, always follow the

safety instructions provided with the drone. Keep your eyes on

the drone and the surrounding environment at all times.

■

Examine the dark shade carefully for the following before use:

Do not use the dark shade if it is cracked or damaged.

■

Scratches on the surface may obscure your vision.

■

Wipe off any dirt or dust on the surface.

■
