  • Page 6  Settings including an IP address assignment are required to connect the product to the network (Ethernet). Before use, perform an IP address assignment and other necessary network settings using the supplied configuration software. (See "7.1 Setting an IP address".) The product is configured as follows when shipped from the factory: IP address = 192.168.10.1, Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0, Gateway = None If you connect the product directly to a single PC, these settings do not need to be changed.

Main Features  This product can be performed alarm output and contact operation using demand surveillance and ® also save the data collected via CC-Link communications or MODBUS from measuring instruments and programmable logic controllers to this product.  The product is preinstalled with software needed to view the data saved. The data can be downloaded via Ethernet to PCs connected to the Internet/Intranet.

    3. Names and Functions of Parts Front LED indications Indicates the statuses of the 7-segment LED display CC-Link product. Displays an error code when an Station number setup switch error is detected on the product. Also displays the IP address set in the product when you start it up in the IP address display mode.

    6. Battery Installation and Replacement(Server section) Installing the battery(Server section) The battery is shipped with the battery connector removed. Before use, make sure to connect the battery connector. (1) Open the battery cover on the bottom of the server. Make bundles of excess lengths of lead wire on the top of the battery (inside the main unit) as shown below.

    Setting the demand surveillance unit battery switch to ON Before using the product, set the battery switch (BAT.SW) on the demand surveillance unit to ON. (1) Before using the product, set the battery switch on the demand monitoring section to ON. * Turning off the programmable logic controller with this switch set to OFF will reset the clock setting to the default value (0:00, 1/1/2012).

Change the IP address in IP address settings (new). (The following figure shows an example of changing the IP address to 10.123.234.10.     10.2 Installation conditions The following figures show the installation conditions taking heat dissipation into account. Sufficient space must also be provided under the product for battery replacement. Initialization of Main Unit Memory The main unit memory requires initialization when you use the product for the first time or when you keep the product nonenergized for an extended period of time with the battery exhausted or disconnected (“01” blinks on the 7-segment LED of the server section at startup).
