MAKING CONNECTIONS CONNECTING SPEAKERS For best results, use a matched pair of 8-ohm speakers. Caution: Before you make speaker connections, be sure the AC power cord is not plugged in. For speaker connections, use a speaker cable with a phono plug on one end and the appropriate connector on the other end.
