Check Your Accessory Kit Contents
SCSI Interface Cable: Connects the autoloader to the host.
SCSI Terminator: 68-pin external terminator to be used if
the autoloader is the only or the last SCSI device on the
SCSI bus.
Power Cord: Localized power cord included with the
autoloader.
Documentation CD: User and Service Guide with Web
links for product registration, drivers, and technical
support.
1/8 Rack Mount Kit (Optional)
This kit is required for mounting the autoloader into
a 19 inch rack.

    This product can ONLY be used with an HP more information about SCSI IDs. approved power cord for your specific geographic region. Use of a non-HP approved power cord may result in: 1) not meeting individual country specific safety requirements; Install a SCSI host bus adapter, software, and 2) insufficient conductor ampacity that could result in compatible driver on the host computer.

    Importing cartridges Register your autoloader online at: www.register.hp.com. HP customers who register join a select group to receive technical support updates and special HP offers. Load tapes into the autoloader by using the Import command from the front panel and inserting the data cartridge into the mailslot.
  • Page 5 Menu structure for the 1/8 Ultrium 960 and Ultrium 448 Tape Autoloader The Ultrium 960 and Ultrium 448 Tape Autoloaders have an online and an offline mode. In Online mode, shaded light blue on the diagram, there are only two choices: Information and Go Offline. You must select Go Offline to access the full menu structure.
