  • Page 2 There are several physical connections which are vital to the normal operation of your Epson 485wi projector. The first, and most important of these, is the VGA connection from your PC to your projector. Below is an example of a VGA cable.

  • Page 7 Once you have your Start Menu open, go to your Programs (or All Programs) list and select the Epson Projector folder. You should see the Easy Interactive Tools program listed under the Epson folder.

There will also be an arrow on your desktop which appears on the opposite side than the toolbar. This arrow allows you to easily switch the toolbar from one side of your desktop to the other if any of the images from your desktop are blocked for any reason.

  • Page 13 When you select the Toolbox icon from either the Interactive mode or Whiteboard mode, you will see the following menu. Display a spotlight effect that hides most of the image and reveals a circular area. Drag the spotlight frame to reveal different parts of the image Cover the projected image with a shade.

  • Page 19 Locate and press the User button on the remote. You will see a menu like the image below. You should not need to adjust the focus or change the image settings, simply hit the Enter button on the remote to begin the calibration process. You will see a series of white horizontal lines and hear the projector taking pictures of these lines to automatically adjust itself to the projected grid.
  • Page 20 Select the Easy Interactive Function setting and press Enter. Select Manual Calibration and press Enter. Again, you should not need to adjust the focus as this has been done during initial installation. Press Enter to select Yes. A flashing green circle appears in the upper left corner of your projected image.
  • Page 21 Touch the center of the next circle and then repeat. When you get to the bottom of the column, the next circle appears at the top of a new column. If you make a mistake, press the Esc button on the remote control to go back to the previous circle.
