- Page 8 Combi hybrid with fast connection kit: The fast connect board goes outside, it’s in a waterproof enclosure, 600 high x 800 wide x 300mm deep. The fast connection kit has energy meters installed so the installer needs no other parts. Just T into the heating circuit and modify the wiring as above.

Page 10: Start-Up Procedure
Start-up Procedure: Filling and flushing, when installing any Heat pump we insist on a thorough system flush prior to connection in line with the Building Regulations for England and Wales, Part L, 2006. Using the power flusher fill the system with water and 25% Propylene Glycol, there is no pressure sensor in the unit so we can operate from open vented to 3 bar maximum. -

Field Settings Field settings define how the unit will work, each system will have different field settings. Field settings are in groups, the 20s are for weather compensation and temperature control in heating, the 30s are for the cylinder and the 40s are for backup boilers and hybrid systems. -

Checking flow rate before starting the heat pump. The flow rate through the heat pump is very high and must never fall. An alarm will show E911 if the flow falls below 17l/min on a 9 and 16Kw UNIT and 9l/min on a 5Kw unit. -

Starting the unit in heating mode; Press the power button (top left) AU will show meeting Automatic mode using an external run signal. General Advice: The heat pump comes with a Samsung controller which looks like this, you should not use this or press the buttons, it is used for commissioning and fault diagnosing the system only. Normally the controller will show AU or automatic mode, this means its looking for a thermostat to tell it when to run. -

This warranty covers only the Samsung components of the installation, it is parts only with a pre-set labour allowance only. The warranty is between Freedom Heat pumps and the installation company only, this is NOT an end user warranty. - Page 18 I accept the terms of the Samsung warranty and confirm the system has been registered within 30 days of delivery. Maintenance Monobloc Systems The Samsung heat pump should be maintained at least once a year to comply with warranty and RHI. The warranty card also doubles up as a maintenance sheet. Maintenance procedure Stop the unit, clean the strainer or magnetic filter in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and replace it.
