M110 has the following host interfaces: 8/16Gb FC, 1/10Gb iSCSI, 12Gb SAS, Combo(FC and iSCSI). M110 base units support 24x 2.5” drives and 12x 3.5” drives per 2U chassis. Disk enclosures can include a mix of SAS disk drives, Nearline SAS disk drives and SAS SSD.

This software can manage an M110 with basic functionalities and no management server is necessary. When more functions are required such as data replication, purchase NEC StorageManager Suite that requires a management server.

It is a base product that manage multiple arrays from a single point. It requires a management server. Refer to the table below for functions which are available with NEC StorageManager.
