    Installing/Removing the SIM Card The SIM card is stored in a recess in the battery compartment. It is normally covered by the battery when you use your phone. Caution: Make sure your phone is powered off before inserting or removing the SIM card. If you don’t, you may damage the memory on your SIM card.

    Charging the Battery Any battery that hasn’t been used for a month or more—including new batteries—should be charged for about 3–4 hours before use. Using the Internal Charger A battery charger is built right into your phone. Using either the travel charger or auto accessory adapter, you can plug the handset directly into a power source to charge the installed battery.
