    Making Calls Your i870 phone makes two types of calls: digital cellular phone calls and InstantLINC Mobile to Mobile calls. With InstantLINC Mobile to Mobile calls, you use your phone as a long-range, digital walkie-talkie. Phone Calls With the Flip Open 1 Enter the number you want to call.

    Making Calls With the Flip Closed When you make a call with the flip closed, speakerphone is always on. Opening the flip turns speakerphone off. Using Mute Muting calls lets you listen to incoming sound without transmitting sound. Mute is available whenever you are on an active call.
